During this Thanksgiving season it is helpful to pause and reflect on what God has done in us and through us. We have met dozens of neighbors through two outreach BBQ’s, a Bus Shelter clean up and last month gave away clothing and household gods at our “Free Market”. Grove has continued to reach out to children by reintroducing our Vacation Bible School and remodeling our Sunday School Children’s Worship space in the nursery.
Grove is thankful to be able to be generous to our community by contributing to Sandy Relief, giving the offering of the classis worship service to the Woodcliff Church’s food pantry, and just last month Grove provided assistance to the victims of a the devastating fire in North Bergen. Grove has also been meeting the needs in our congregation through the newly established Common Cupboard as well as the Deacon’s Fund. We are thankful that God is at work in and through Grove Reformed Church and has been for 170 years!
Please take times to count your blessings this month... while times may have been hard, God remains to be good. “…Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Grove Reformed Church is much more than brick and mortar. Our church is its people. Gathered from all walks of life, we unite our hearts and gather our talents and resources to deliver the message of hope that can be found only in Jesus Christ. We welcome families and couples, those in relationships and those who live alone. We embrace those from a variety of religious backrounds and those who grew up with no particular religion. We hope that soon you will think of us not as The Church on the corner of 46th and Kennedy, but as
Thank you for visiting!
